My name is Elaine Vella Catalano and I am a 21 year old Maltese resident. I am a full-time webmaster but am striving to become my own boss someday through an online business.

I have been creating websites and experimenting with code since the year 2000. Therefore most of the skills and knowledge I have are self-taught, but I did attend MCAST for four years and have achieved the BTEC Higher National Diploma in ICT specializing Software Development. I have also gained a considerable amount of work experience through the various work projects I have conducted in the past two years, both through freelance and full-time jobs.

I have knowledge of various computer subjects some of which include CSharp.Net, ASP.Net, SQL, Java, VB.Net, Java Script, AJAX, using Databases including mySQL and Microsoft SQL Server, HTML and CSS, and have a keen interest on web design and development. My present tasks at my workplace mainly include creating and maintaining company websites and converting previously created websites into dynamic .NET websites.

I am also a big photography fan and love nothing more than to go out on a sunny day and shoot a few pictures with my camera(s). I own a Nikon Coolpix S4 and have recently also purchased a Nikon D90 - my DSLR! I’m still in the process of learning but I hope to improve with practice and time.

I feel I am an organised individual and possess a good knowledge of three languages - English, Matese and Italian. I am enthusiastic about computing and have a will to learn. Should you need any professional advice or are looking for a web developer, you should contact me now.
